• Cursillo Ultreya

    In the Cursillo movement, an Ultreya is a community gathering designed to encourage and sustain members in their Christian walk. The word itself is a Spanish greeting used by medieval pilgrims on the way to Santiago de Compostela, meaning "Onward!" or "Keep going!".

    Maundy Thursday, also known as Holy Thursday, commemorates Jesus Christ's Last Supper with his disciples, the institution of the Eucharist (Communion), and the washing of the feet.  Held the Thursday before Easter, it marks the start of the Triduum and emphasizes the command to love one another.
